Elder Jake Hafen has been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be serving in the Germany Hamburg Mission. Jake starts Home MTC September 30, Provo MTC October 9,
and enters the Mission Field on November 13th. He will be speaking German on his mission.
Victoria and Merlin Hafen of the Willows Ward, West Stake are his parents.
Elder Jake Hafen's Farewell will be on September 22nd, at 9 am in the Stake Center. The Stake Center is
located at 100 N. Arrowhead Ln.
Elder Hafen's testimony:
I know that this church is true and that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love and know me personally. I know that Joseph smith was a true prophet of God and he wrote the Book Of Mormon and restored this church with the guidance of the savior. Going on a mission is the right thing to do and I know that I will be blessed and I will be able to bless others because of my decision to serve. I love this church and the people in it and I hope to be able to teach others so that can experience this same joy.
