“Burdens to Blessings” was a great success with a large crowd on Saturday, November 12 at the stake center parking lot. Tables were set up early and clothing, shoes, books and housewares were spread out for everyone in the community to come and take what they needed. Janarah Hollingshead, stake Relief Society Pres. said it was a great turnout. This is the 2nd year for the community clothes give away. A table with bottled water was made available. Thank you to the Relief Society, Janarah and her counselors, Whitney Jensen and Shantelle Felshaw, for organizing it and advertising it with flyers in all the local businesses. The Relief Society sisters from each ward also deserve thanks for coming to pass out bags and help sort clothes. About noon the remaining items were bagged and the truck from Safe Nest in Las Vegas came to pick it up. Thank you to the men from the various wards who came and bagged and boxed up the remainder and put the tables away.
