On Saturday, August 24 the Stake Primary held its Activity Day for all girls 8-11 years of age. It was a busy day for more than 85 girls that attended to the theme of Choosing Joy. Fun and informative classes helped the girls learn how to choose joy in their lives. The subject of these classes included Media Choices, Following the Savior, Divine Roles, Knowing Where You Want to Go and Being Resilient. A fun craft making a cute beaded bracelet also followed the theme.
The 5 hours of activities included a lunch of hot dogs, chips, fruit and vegi snacks and was topped off with a yummy chocolate fountain!
The day was an accomplishment of the combined efforts of the just released and new incoming Stake Primary Presidencies.
The new presidency of Pam Sleppy (pres.), Chelsie Abbott and Nicole Burnside (councilors) and Abbie Dalton (sec.) really got a great start to their callings.
“We were so grateful to be able to work together with the released presidency. We are over whelmed but feel so blessed in our callings to serve the children of the stake.”
