The Mesquite Nevada Stake Presidency presented a devotional for the graduating high school seniors in the stake May 2. Twenty seniors attended and received advice, support and inspiration. President Abbot advised the young people to be careful with their money and start saving now! Thinking about their futures and their financial requirements should carefully be planned and the next ten years in their lives is “the decade of decision”. President Anderson talked about the difference between policy and doctrine. Doctrine never changes, policy can. Sydney Ludvigson’s said “my favorite part was when Pres. Anderson said it is ok to be hopeless romantics. Because as girls we know we want a man who loves the gospel, who treats us kindly and who thinks we are the world. And we should not settle for less!”
