Fathers and sons gathered at Heritage Park on Friday evening, May 10 for an evening of good food and fun. President Anderson, Kelby Hughes, and Evan Wilson entertained and inspired the group of approximately 150 Attendees. A dinner of delicious pulled pork sandwiches with all the trimmings was served by High Council members with the Stake Presidency. Games like kick ball helped the meal digest and after the sun went done a movie (Forever Strong) was enjoyed. “It’s always a great time when all of the guys in the stake can get together. These gatherings are not especially spiritual but as bothers in the gospel we inspire each other to keep doing our best” said John Zarate. Nearly 50 sons and dads stayed to camp overnight at the park. In the morning a pancake breakfast was served to the campers and those that returned from “camping at home”.
