21 scouts from The Valley gathered Wednesday night to complete the Communication merit badge. The instructors were Trent Wilson and Josh Tietjen. Boys needed to complete requirements such as giving a 5 minute talk, attending a public meeting, and discussing the different ways that we communicate. This is the third required merit badge class that has been offered by the area scout leaders. Chris Allen has organized a schedule and gets counselors for the classes. Next month will be the Swimming merit badge, another badge that is required to earn an Eagle Scout award.
